New Legacy by Subaru

This year at Japanese automaker’s showroom Subaru presenting the new sedan Legacy.
However, the last year’s range, the Legacy lineup has grown. In 2007 Subaru added the high-performance Spec B to the Legacy range. Built around a 243-horsepower version of the Subaru 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine, teamed up with a modified version of the WRX’s six-speed manual gearbox and AWD system, the Spec B also features driver-adjustable SI-Drive, which allows engine performance characteristics to be toggled between three settings – “intelligent,” “sport,” and “sport sharp.”
This year Subaru adds another Legacy 3.0R Limited – the first six-cylinder model ever-to its mid-size lineup. It’s powered by a 245-hp version of Subaru’s flat six, and is paired with a five-speed automatic outfitted with paddle shifters. The SI-Drive system is also offered on the 3.0R; is also featured a Bilstein sport suspension.
Inside, a revised instrument panel and fabrics make for a richer feel. A telescoping steering wheel is standard, and a new remote keyless entry system is integrated into the key fob. The wheel itself comes with audio control buttons on premium models.
Stability control is standard on the upmarket Legacy four-doors as well, while tire pressure monitors and satellite radio pre-wiring is also included across the board.
This year all Legacy sedans get new front- and rear-end styling, with a bigger grille, new bumpers and lights.
