Subaru unveiled its Exiga Concept at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show, and it looks as though the seven-seater tall wagon will be heading to production very soon.
A teaser image of the upcoming production model — which will likely wear the Outback nameplate — has been leaked onto the internet.
The new model should slot between the Legacy and the Tribeca, although the wagon-esque vehicle will likely lose its seven-passenger seating for the U.S. market. It is expected that the new model will go head-to-head with Toyota’s upcoming Venza.
It remains unclear what powerplant will be powering the production Exiga, but the concept was propelled by a turbocharged 2.0L boxer-four.
