Moto-Terminator

Since the first Terminator movie made its appearance in 1984, the multi-million-dollar-budget franchise has been the platform for amazing action, and innovative special effects.

There have also been some unparalleled chase scenes, the favorite being the young John Conner (Edward Furlong) racing his dirt bike through the L.A. River in T2, which isn’t likely to change for the newest episode, Terminator Salvation.

Scheduled to open in May of 2009, and starring new action movie hero Christian Bale, the new movie joins Conner in his fight against the evil Skynet after the nuclear holocaust.

In this end-of-the-world setting “the machines” are taking a much larger part, and far more interesting forms than in the preceding three movies. More photos after the jump!

Production director Martin Laing was in charge of envisioning some of the near-future killing machines, and has designed, among a lot of other frightening metal, this Moto-Terminator motorcycle.
