South Korean company to build low-speed electric-cars in the U.S.

Sponsored links:CT&T, a South Korean company, announced that it plans to manufacture and sell a low-speed electric-car for cities and gated communities in the United States. According to Automotive News, CT&T said that it will manufacture the electric-cars in the U.S. and will employ as many as 2,600 workers by 2013.
CT&T also plans to manufacture batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles in the United States for other manufacturers.
CT&T, a company that was founded by a former Hyundai executive Young Gi Lee, said that it looking to establish its headquarters in either South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama or California. The company will begin marketing its c-Zone utility vehicle for commercial and government fleets by the fourth quarter with prices to begin at $8,000 to $16,000
