2010 Subaru Outback delivers 29 mpg on the highway

Subaru of America released today the official results of the EPA fuel economy test for the brand new 2010 Outback.
The new vehicle from Subaru, equipped with the 170 hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Boxer engine is capable to deliver 24 mpg combined and 29 mpg on the highway (2.5i 6MT 19 mpg city / 22 mpg combined / 27 mpg hwy; 2.5i CVT 22 mpg city / 24 mpg combined / 29 mpg hwy; 3.6R 5AT 18 mpg city / 20 mpg combined / 25 mpg hwy ) even while interior volume is up over 7-percent.”
