There will be no Ferrari Viper says Dodge boss, brand just wants advice from Maranello

Earlier this month, Chrysler Group LLC’s CEO Sergio Marchionne unveiled what he has planned for the American automaker under its alliance with Fiat SpA. At the time, Dodge president and CEO Ralph Gilles confirmed that Chrysler will produce only 500 more units of the Dodge Viper and that a new sports car will replace the model in the summer of 2012.

New Buick Regal Sedan to be Built in Canada from 2011, Until Then it Will be ‘Made in Germany’

General Motors confirmed today that it will assemble the North American-spec 2011 Buick Regal at its Oshawa Car Assembly plant in Canada with production set to commence in the first quarter 2011. The all-new Buick Regal is scheduled to go on sale in the States next Spring, with first year models to be built alongside its Opel Insignia twin at GM’s Opel plant in Russelsheim, Germany.

Bloodhound SSC land-speed record car will make 135,000-hp

A little more than a year ago, we reported about something called the Bloodhound project, a group headed by Richard Noble and Andy Green that is working on a vehicle that can hit a top speed of 1,050 mph. The duo is out to beat their own record, and the current land-speed record, of 766 mph.
