VIDEO: Subaru Impreza WRX STI Pulls Truck Out Of Snow Covered Road!

The previous generation Subaru Impreza WRX STI packs some serious muscle under its hood, and thanks to the company’s signature symmetrical all-wheel drive system, all that power is efficiently transferred to the road. In fact, the STI’s powertrain is so effective that a driver (we assume in Holland) managed to pull out a semi trailer-truck that was stuck on a snow/ice covered road. And oh, don’t let Mitsubishi fans claiming that there’s an EVO somewhere up front pulling the STI get to you… Watch the video after the break.

The 2010 Chevy Camaro is one of the most polarizing and aggressively styled vehicles to hit the road in 2009, but now its designer is set to leave GM after 10 years of service. Designer Sangyup Lee is reportedly going to be taking post in VW’s California-based design studio in 2010.

Ferrari has launched the ultimate driving simulator to help hone its Formula One cars and drivers, but weighing in at more than 200 tonnes, with ten computers, 60 GB of RAM, five giant 3D video screens and a 3500 watt Dolby sound system, this isn’t a driving game that’s going to be in anyone’s Christmas stocking!

Audi to invest $10.5 billion through 2012, Audi Q5 Hybrid confirmed for 2010

Audi announced today that it will continue to invest in new products and technologies to strengthen its lineup in the future. The Ingolstadt automaker plans to invest 7.3 billion euros ($10.5 billion USD) from 2009 through 2012.

Audi said that approximately 5.9 billion euros ($8.49 billion USD) will be invested in developing new products, optimizing of conventional driveline and the development of electric and hybrid models. By 2015, Audi plans on expanding its portfolio from 34 models to 42.

Audi said that the A1, A7, A8 and R8 Spyder will be added to its lineup during 2010. The German automaker confirmed that it will introduce its first full hybrid model, the Audi Q5 Hybrid, at the end of 2010.

Audi sold a total of 1,003,469 cars in 2008, achieving its 13th consecutive record year.

Lamborghini

Rumor: Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 SV coming to Geneva in March

Rumor has it that Lamborghini is planning a hardcore version of the Gallardo LP560-4 called the Gallardo LP570-4 SV (SuperVeloce). Insiders say that the model will be stripped down but will only push out 10 more horsepower than the base model. The front suspension will also see some work and carbon ceramic brakes are aslo expected. You can also look forward to seeing some aggressive body design cues.
