The legendary Alvis 4.3 litre of the 1930s is to be reborn – complete with engine management, hydraulic brakes and fuel injection.from Alvis specialist, Red Triangle.
Anyone lucky enough to find an original at auction would have to pay in the region of £400,000-£450,000 for the elegant, open-top pre-war car. But Red Triangle plans to produce new “continuation” models which will cost from around £170,000.

While Fiat’s in-house tuning brand appears to be intensely occupied tweaking Punto Evos and 500Cs for the European market – and supposedly a 500 Abarth for us as well – Abarth also has an eye on its own sports car. According to Autocar, this wouldn’t be a microwave job on a Fiat, but a unique creation to serve as a halo car.

Washington DC June 22, 2010; The AIADA newsletter reports that USA Today reported that after years of touting cars with tire-screeching performance, miserly gas mileage, or big rebates, automakers are increasingly trying to lure customers with less dramatic free oil changes and wiper blades.
In recent years, scheduled maintenance programs have been initiated by both mainstream and luxury brands, including Jaguar, Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW, Land Rover and Mini.

2011 Range Rover on sale this Autumn with a new diesel engine and eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Range Rover has announced details of its 2011 range, billing it – as always – as “the most capable and luxurious SUV in the world”.
Despite the “2011″ tag, the latest Range Rover will arrive in showrooms from mid-September. It will be identified externally by a series of small bodywork revisions including the availability of a new Exterior Design Pack that is comprised of revised front and rear bumpers, while the grille and side vents get a “Titan” finish.
