The Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Herms, revealed to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2008, was at The Quail, a Motorsport Gathering on the Monterey Peninsula. This show has become the highlight in what is a whirlwind of ten days of events every August, when car enthusiasts from around the world gather in Monterey to celebrate the ultimate in automotive design and engineering.

Update: Bugatti promised to build only 300 examples of its Veyron supercar in total but this number also included a number of special edition models such as the recently revealed Sang Noir and its Pur Sang forerunner.

Racer X Design has released a design study of its take on the famed Bugatti Veyron, one of many such designs popping up since the supercar’s release two years ago. The latest design is dubbed the ‘Bugatti Type 12-2 Streamliner Concept’ and is immediately recognizable as a Veyron from the front, although from the rear there is a mix of Veyron, Ferrari 599 and Alfa 8C.
