Ferrari is expecting record sales in 2008 and at its Ferrari California debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show today, the Italian automaker said it has sold out of the convertible until 2011. Ferrari has sold the entire 2009 and 2010 production of the $246,724 hard-top California.

We only told you 2 short days a go that Ferrari are secretly working on an open-top variant of the super limited 430 Scuderia, and what happens? Up pops these few images of what appears to be a 100% production ready prototype. We have to admit there is a pretty slim chance that this is in fact real, this model is probably the work of an extensive tuning package.

The Paris Motor Show is barely 6 weeks away and arguably the most anticipated unveiling at the show will be the all-new Ferrari California. Sure, we have seen just about every detail of the new entry level model from the Prancing Horse, but that doesn’t compare to seeing the model in the flesh and being able to analyse the beauty with your own eyes.
