Ready go on sale in the UK in May 2010, the 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia will carry a starting price tag of £169,545 ($277,124 USD). Ferrari is also offering racing seats at £4276 ($6,989 USD), a Ferrari shield on the wings for £945 ($1,544 USD), power seats at £2,120 ($3,465 USD) and a luggage set for the rear bench for £2987 ($4,882 USD).

Ferrari Boss reveals Schumacher to race Mercedes in 2010

ferrari-bossWhat began as a wild rumour has slowly edged towards near-fact: Michael Schumacher is returning to the formula one grid.

The hardening speculation has been all but confirmed by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, with whom the 40-year-old German won five of his seven world championships until 2006.

The Italian told international reporters at a Christmas dinner on Friday that, during a conversation with Ferrari adviser Schumacher earlier this week, “he told me there is a very strong possibility” he will race a Mercedes next year.

Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta revealed, second from Special Projects program

We all remember the hoopla a few years ago when kajillionaire James Glickenhaus revealed he had been working with Ferrari on an updated version of the famous P3/4 race car from the sixties. What resulted was the Ferrari P4/5 one-off. Glickenhaus was $4 million lighter, but that seems like money well spent judging by all the attention he received, not to mention the fact he owns a 1-of-1 Ferrari.
