Kia Motors has Contacted Owners of its New Venga to Conduct a Product Modification

During rigorous crash testing it was seen that there was a small risk that the lower section of the front seatbelts in its new Venga model could become damaged by contact with the lower seat mounting rail.

Kia Motors (UK) Ltd. immediately suspended delivery of the 450 vehicles destined for customers and has contacted the owners of the only four Venga models to have left dealers’ showrooms and has already conducted the modification to prevent this damage.

Kia Ray plug-in concept takes to the Chicago stage

After releasing two preview images, Kia has officially revealed its Kia Ray plug-in concept at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. Developed under Kia’s EcoDynamics sub-brand, the Ray concept represents the fifth vehicle penned by Kia’s Irvine, California Kia Design Center America to debut in the last year.

Kia Motors Global Sales Increase Over 53 Per Cent in November

Kia Motors Corporation has announced that global sales figures for passenger cars (export sales, domestic sales, and sales from overseas plants), recreational vehicles (RVs) and commercial vehicles for November 2009 have recorded a total of 152,826 units sold. This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 53.2 per cent.
