Maserati GranCabrio lands in NZ

Maserati GranCabrio lands in NZThe first examples of Maserati’s four-seat GranCabrio convertible have landed in New Zealand

Maserati’s four-door soft-top GranCabrio has landed in New Zealand.

The GranCabrio was even developed with New Zealand conditions in mind, with the folding roof having been weather-tested in the South Island. New Zealand also provided the conditions for the snow and ice calibration of the GranCabrio’s stability control system.

Maserati promotes North American CEO

Continuing the shakeup in the executive automotive ranks, Maserati  has announced a change atop its global operations. Mark McNabb, Maserati’s current North American CEO, has been named the company’s worldwide commercial director.

Despite the promotion, McNabb, 48, will continue to act as CEO of Maserati North America. McNabb will be taking over for Raffaele Fusilli, who was let go after three years with the company.

Maserati GranCabrio Priced from £95,630 in the UK

Maserati GranCabrio

The convertible version of the Maserati GrandTurismo coupe, the GranCabrio, is available for order now in the UK with OTR prices starting from £95,630. The first right-hand drive examples will reach Maserati’s showrooms in April 2010. It comes equipped with a folding fabric roof and according to Maserati, it features the longest wheelbase (2,492mm) of any convertible available on the market, meaning that it should offer adequate room for all four passengers.
