2009 Nissan 370Z unveiling in LA

Under the gentle dusting of wildfire ash, Nissan’s ad agency, TBWA/Chait/Day along with Edmund’s Insideline unveiled Nissan’s 370Z for the first time in North America. Legions of Z-car die-hards, a few GT-R guys and even a Nissan designer were out in full force.

We were on hand to snap some photos of the new 332-hp 370Z, chat with a Nissan interior designer and, of course, eat some free gorditas.

Nissan Z34 370Z To Get 248kW V6, Paddle-Shifted Auto

Preliminary tech specs of Nissan’s upcoming Z34 370Z have been uncovered, and it comes as no surprise that the new Z’s VQ37VHR engine boasts a slight improvement in power over the mechanically similar unit found in the V36 Skyline 370GT/Infiniti G37 Coupe.

Nissan 370Z Live Photos

It’s only been a week since Nissan dropped the first official shots of the brand-new 370Z into the web.

Even though the sports coupe is supposed to make its first public appearance at the upcoming 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show that runs November 21 to 30, the Japanese automaker revealed the vehicle to a handful of people somewhere in Europe.

2009 Nissan 370Z First Official Photos!

Nissan is offering us our first look at the brand new 370Z with the release of a set of high-resolution pictures ahead of the sports coupe’s world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 19 November. As anticipated, the Japanese automaker did not reveal any technical details on the 350Z’s successor, but it’s no secret that the new Z’ will share its more powerful 3.7-liter V6 engine that can be hooked up to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic transmission with the latest generation Infiniti G37 Coupe and Sedan models.
