Renault has the perfect solution for customers who like their hot hatch thrills with just a touch more refinement and extra comfort, with a new version of the much-acclaimed Clio Renaultsport 197, the ‘Lux’.
The new Lux version comes packed with extra features such as leather upholstery and automatic climate control, worth £2,000 as individual options, yet at £16,995, Lux costs just £1,000 more than the standard version.
It’s like giving your kid a red cape and calling him Superman. It’s like getting plus-sized actor Jack Black a bicycle and telling him he can race the Tour de France. Dear Renault, how come, why’d you do it? You know the Renaultsport F1 badge is a coveted one, not worn by any old thing. Yet Renault has seen it fit to give it to a Sandero and Logan, cars we don’t particularly have anything against on their own.
The best description we could think of for Renault’s Paris Show Z.E. concept car is a Kangoo of the not-so distant future. And truly enough, the Z.E., which by the way stands for Zero Emissions, is indeed based on the new Kangoo Be-Bop that also made its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show.

Just a few short weeks ago, Renault revealed the first images and details of the Renault Megane Hatch, the five door variant of its all-new C segment model. Details of when further variants were likely to be unveiled was kep under wrap, this wrap has now been well and truly ripped open with the unveiling of the Renault Megane Coupe at the Paris Motor Show today.
