SEAT and Shakira have signed a collaboration agreement which sees the sporty Spanish car manufacturer become the main sponsor of the international pop star’s forthcoming European tour.
This agreement will link the young, sporty image of the SEAT brand to the musical talent of Shakira, currently enjoying great success with her latest album She Wolf. The Colombian-born singer will thus become a distinguished ambassador for SEAT throughout her European tour.

MARTOREL, SPAIN – July 2, 2009: In both its 5-door and SC version, the SEAT Ibiza is still racking up distinctions. This time, the popular Spanish model has been singled out as the most secure in the ‘City Car/Supermini’ category with the prestigious British Insurance Vehicle Security (BIVS) Award, presented by Thatcham, the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre located in the county of Berkshire, England.
This is the first time a SEAT vehicle has been chosen for this significant award. It places the Ibiza in an enviable position compared to its rivals in terms of security.

Je Design, the well-known tuner, revealed today it latest tuning kit for the Seat Leon facelift. The new program includes a new front spoiler (299 euros including VAT), matt black grill with a grid insert (119 euros), headlights masks (89 euros), hood scoop with air inlet blinds (149 euros), side skirts (299 euros), a rear wing (459 euros) and a rear apron attachment in carbon look (349 euros).

The SEAT Exeo is something of a departure for SEAT. Never before has the Spanish manufacturer made a sporty saloon of this ilk, which is surprising when you consider some of the championship-winning hatches in the company’s portfolio.
The SEAT Exeo (ex-ay-oh) may be a sporty saloon but not in the same manner as a Maserati Quattroporte, say, or even a Mitsubishi Evo. With prices starting at £17,740, it is clearly nowhere near as expensive as the former and certainly not as brash as the latter.
