Do you love Saabs? What about cutting paper and folding it? Then have we got some snazzy news for you: Belgian site I love Saab has some fun for the whole family (or your lonely lunch hour). It provides a downloadable PDF file allowing Saab fans to build a 3D paper model of one of the coolest Saabs of the past 25 years, the 900.
Or, if you don’t like Saabs, you could always just build it and set it on fire. Wait, that would have to be a model of the old 9-5. Either way, go get your safety scissors (don’t run!) and enjoy.

The BMW Group once again improved sales volumes substantially in February of this year. A total of 91,758 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce automobiles were delivered to customers (prev. yr. 80,474) – representing an increase of 14.0%. The figure for the year to the end of February was 173,911 units – 15.3% higher than the previous year (150,893).
Ian Robertson, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing: “After a substantial increase in January, sales year on year were significantly higher as well in February. Last month we saw growth in Asia, in particular, but we also made gains in many markets in Europe, Africa and the Americas. In key sales markets such as the US, the automotive sector is also showing encouraging signs of a gradual recovery.“ Almost all markets are experiencing a definite upturn. In the US, the BMW brand was the segment leader in February with growth of 16.3%. In Germany, the BMW Group managed to increase volumes by 6.8% despite the downward market trend. In China, the company sold 96.7% more vehicles in the month under review.

It must have been a slow news day, because mega-newspaper The New York Times has done a report on popular destinations according to GPS searches (and no, it’s not my mom’s house).
According to TeleNav, a company whose navigation apps you probably use – I know I do – and can be found on just about any cell phone out there, it’s been tracking people all over.
Anyone care to guess what Americans’ top destination was? If you said Wal-Mart, you’d be right. Second was the world’s coffee shop, Starbucks. God how I hate them and their absurdly-named coffees and sizes. JUST GIVE ME A MEDIUM COFFEE, BLACK.

If you’re into going too fast on two wheels, chances are the name Terry Vance has crossed your radar a time or two. The pilot of Need-for-Speed Duo Vance & Hines spread the word recently from Daytona International Speedway that a new spec series featuring the Harley Davidson XR-1200 will run this year along with select AMA road racing events.
The Vance & Hines XR-1200 Series, as it is officially being called, will kick off at Road America this June in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, coincidentally, very close to Harley Davidson’s headquarters. Hmm. Question: How can one guarantee a Harley clad in Vance & Hines goodies will win races this year? Answer: You guessed it, the above-mentioned series is born. Looking on the bright side, at least the current economic state was taken into account when pricing the race kit.
