Volkswagen SP-2 was built in Brazil from 1972-1976. It was named after the firm’s plant in Sao Paulo and was sold only in the South American market. Power came from a rear-mounted, 4-cylinder boxer engine that developed 65 hp, which was good for a top speed of 161 km/h (100 mph).
