Before You Write

Frequently asked questions.

A few of the most common questions we receive from brands, agencies, collectors, and press. Don't see your answer here? Include it in the brief above.

How quickly will I hear back after submitting a brief?

Every brief is reviewed by a senior producer within one business day. Press and launch-window work is prioritized and acknowledged the same day whenever possible. Quoted timelines for the shoot itself are confirmed in the reply, along with availability and a transparent estimate.

Do you travel for shoots, and what's the global crew network?

Yes. Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, with trusted partner crews in London, Munich, Dubai, and Tokyo. We assemble locally led teams for international work — same quality, same lighting language, no expensive transatlantic freight. Travel, permits, and crew fees are itemized in every quote.

Can you work with embargoed or pre-production vehicles?

Absolutely. We regularly handle camouflaged prototypes, press-launch embargoes, and pre-reveal campaigns. Our studio is a secure facility with limited-access zones, and we sign NDAs as a matter of course. Watermarked proofs and encrypted delivery are standard for unreleased work.

What does a typical project cost?

Projects range from a focused $2,500 half-day editorial session to multi-vehicle global campaigns in the six figures. We scope every brief to its real needs — there's no menu price. As a rough guide, single-car studio work typically starts around $4,500; on-location campaigns begin near $12,000 with crew and logistics.

Do you also offer limited-edition prints and framing?

Yes. A curated selection of archive frames is available as signed, museum-grade prints — archival pigment on cotton rag, framed in hand-finished maple or blackened aluminium. For commissions, we collaborate with collectors on bespoke editions of personal vehicles. Reach the print desk at [email protected].

Who owns the images after delivery?

Licensing is tailored per project. Most brand commissions transfer full usage rights for the agreed scope, with the photographer retaining display and portfolio rights. We also offer buyout options for exclusive use. All terms are spelled out clearly in the project agreement before any shoot begins.
